Escape to beautiful Liberty Lake in Washington for a weekend to reconnect and rebuild intimacy with your spouse. This retreat encompasses a workshop to learn skills for making your marriage thrive. Designed to incorporate fun and deepen your friendship with your spouse, the retreat has built-in activities for you to spend intentional time together while increasing the positive moments in your marriage. This is an opportunity you won’t want to miss!

About the Workshop:
This workshop is designed to strengthen your marriage and friendship with your spouse while providing tools to help enhance romance and intimacy, manage conflict constructively, gain skills to work through solvable and perpetual problems, create shared meaning, and maintain gains throughout a lifetime together. If you are experiencing ineffective patterns of communication and conflict, this workshop will provide you a roadmap for how to repair. This workshop is not therapeutic in nature and therefore minimal sharing is required. In fact, you do not have to share at all to get the full benefit of this workshop. Throughout the workshop, we will take breaks to allow for designated time to work on the skills with just your spouse. We will discuss what worked and what didn’t when practicing the skill but no additional details of situations will be shared.
This workshop is based on the internationally acclaimed research of Dr. John Gottman and goes through his book The Seven Principles of Making Marriage Work.
This retreat is for all couples (pre-marital, newlywed, and long-term marriages). This workshop is for marriage enrichment, meaning you can be married 2 years or 42 years and still benefit from the practical tools provided.
This workshop is not for marriages in crisis, recovering from an affair, in severe relationship distress or marriages that have active addiction with one or both spouses or domestic violence of any kind (physical, emotional, verbal, sexual). All couples will be screened to ensure the retreat is a good fit.

Hours of meaningful couple’s work including two Couples Guides, one Seven Principles of Making Marriage Work book, and two card decks for continued relationship building post-retreat, lodging, dinner on Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday, couple’s cooking class and couple’s paint night activities.

Nope! This workshop is not therapeutic in nature and therefore minimal sharing is required.

Couples who need additional support through couples therapy after the retreat will be provided with therapist referrals for therapists that are licensed in their state of residence.

Yes. Checks must be received 7 days after the reservation is requested in order for your spot to be saved. Checks can be mailed to Moments of Grace Family Therapy, 731 NW Franklin Ave. #103, Bend, OR 97701.

This retreat does not qualify to be covered by insurance and must be paid with credit card or check.

A full refund (minus credit card fees) will be provided if your plans change and your reservation is cancelled 30 days before the retreat. A 50% refund (minus credit card fees) will be provided if cancelled 15 days prior to retreat date. After 14 days prior to the retreat, no refunds will be provided for cancellations or no shows.
